Today's News

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Well, Petr Kalus has pulled a Roman Voloshenko and decided to leave the Houston Aeros to return to Europe. The Wild will still own his rights for two years if he decides to come back to the NHL in that time span. In other news, Krys Kolanos was sent back to Houston after he was recalled on an emergency basis after Marian Gaborik was injured playing a "soccer hackysack tennis game".

Speaking of Marian Gaborik (even though I said I wouldn't, though it's envitable considering the situation), it looks like all parties are becoming fustrated with being hounded by the media every second about the negiotations and lack there of it. How did they not expect this after not being able to sign Gaby and making it public that the negiotations were at a stalemate? Let's see how fast the question gets asked to Gaby or Bruno tonight at the Hockey Unplugged (and if you weren't able to get to the event, I'll post up the link of the Pondcast when it gets up). So much for this not being a distraction huh Doug.
